Under_Line UpDate

The Under_Line in December was a truly fabulous event that demonstrated that it is possible to bridge musical communities and to bring the music to a younger and broader constituency. It raised awareness about the urgent need for a venue that will be a hub for uncompromised music. We are so thankful to those of you who made this happen!!

NOW:
• We’re in the process drafting a business proposal for the basement space at Clemente.
• We’ve assembled a vibrant young committee to keep the spirit and momentum alive.
• We will present a series of Under_Line Salons beginning this Fall!

Building the Under_Line is vital to the sustainability of Arts for Art. Events such as the Vision Festival and the Evolving Music Series have brought recognition to many great, uncompromised artists. The Under_Line will make our musical and artistic movement more substantial, continuous, self-sustaining, accessible, and able to meet the needs of a broader community of great artists because there will be great music and art every night of the week!

We are continuing the energy of the December event to find a home for the Under_Line: a venue where a younger audience will want to gather to experience cutting edge music & art.

Arts for Art works hard to present music and art that not only has substance but carries with it the power for social change. A struggle such as this cannot be successful without the support of our greater community. This is a shared struggle and one that we as a community will all benefit from. Right now, we need your help!

Together, we can build momentum and strengthen that larger community - without which Arts for Art will be unable to continue to make Visions Real.
